Insignia Description
Superimposed on an orange pentagon edged in silver 1 1/32 inches (2.62 cm) in height, one point up are five silver fleurs-de-lis; across base is a silver motto scroll bearing the motto "WE MOVE FAST," in orange letters.
Symbolism
Orange and white are the colors used for Signal battalions. The five fleurs-de-lis on the pentagon symbolize the numerical designation of the unit and battle honor awarded the unit for service in the European Theater in World War I and World War II.
History
The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 20 October 1965.
