Symbolism
Orange is the primary color associated with the Signal Corps. Black represents strength, solidity, determination, and twenty-four hour military preparedness. The globe refers to the worldwide impact of the unit’s mission. The gauntlet symbolizes control over the operations and maintenance of communications and information systems. The gauntlet grasps two flashes, which form two stylized arrows, suggesting the command focus and control over its assigned missions.
