Insignia Description
A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  Azure over a flash in bend Argent a torch (bronze metal) Proper, inflamed of the last, in sinister three mullets palewise Or.  Attached below and to the sides of the shield a Gold scroll inscribed “LOYALTY, HARMONY, ACCURACY” in Red letters.

Symbolism
The blue background denotes loyalty to country, friends, promises and duty.  The lightning stroke is indicative of communications and accuracy.  The stars and torch are taken in part from the flag of the State of Indiana.  The three stars are symbolic of the unit’s early affiliation with the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company, the Indiana Bell Telephone Company, and its site of activation at Camp Crowder, Missouri.  The motto, “Loyalty, Harmony, Accuracy,” alludes to the outstanding characteristics which have manifested themselves from the first days of the existence of the organization and throughout the performance of all its duties.

History
The distinctive unit insignia was originally approved for the 93d Signal Battalion on 20 February 1943.  It was redesignated for the 93d Signal Brigade with symbolism revised to reflect correct lineal descent and color of stars on 29 October 1980.
