Insignia Description
A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm) in height overall consisting of a yellow diamond with a green border and bearing at its center a blue disk surmounted by a horizontal white electronic flash all within and surmounting a continuous orange scroll, lined scarlet, the upper area inscribed "COMMAND" and the lower area "COMMUNICATE" in gold letters.

Symbolism
Orange and white are the colors used for Signal organizations. The yellow diamond with the green border and the blue disk suggested by the National flag of Brazil allude to the unit's service in Brazil during 1944-1945, and the color scarlet refers to the award of the Meritorious Unit Streamer for that service. The electronic flash symbolizes the basic mission of the organization.

History
The distinctive unit insignia was originally approved for the 359th Signal Group on 10 Jul 1970. It was redesignated for the 359th Signal Brigade on 20 Jan 1988.
