Background Trimming (Oval) Description
An oval-shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) ultramarine blue border, 1 3/8 inches (3.49 cm) in height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width overall, consisting of a scarlet center oval with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border and a 1/4 inch (.64 cm) ultramarine blue border with two scarlet notches at the horizontal center line.

History
The first design approved on 29 February 1988 was cancelled and the new design authorized on 19 June 2002.
