Background Trimming (Oval) Description
An oval-shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) ultramarine blue border, 1 3/8 inches (3.49 cm) in height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width overall, consisting of a scarlet center oval with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border and a 1/4 inch (.64 cm) ultramarine blue border with a scarlet notch at the horizontal center line.

History
The first design approved on 29 February 1988 was cancelled and the new design authorized on 25 June 2002.
